In Harrisburg's Sunday paper-The Patriot-News, Penn National was awarded the '#1 Best Courses You Can Play' in south-central Pennsylvania. The Patriot said, "We put the two courses together as one entry. The Founders is the classic layout, with plenty of tight shots down tree-lined fairways. Iron Forge is wide open with generous fairways, but the definition of windswept."
