The Process

Depending on your budget and preferred neighborhood, Penn National has three neighborhoods to fit your needs: St. Anne’s, St. Andrews, and the Homestead Cottages. After you’ve picked a neighborhood, you can use choose one of our floor plans to build on your homesite or create a unique one of your own. After that, you can choose a builder who will get started constructing your custom home. Perhaps best of all, you can buy your retirement home site now and know that your dream location is ready for when you want to build your retirement home on your timeline.

St. Anne’s

The neighborhood of St. Anne’s offers mountain vistas and views of the Iron Forge Golf Course fairways—from your living room! Offering views of the sunset from the front of your house and the comfort of the 85,000-acre Michaux Forest at your back, the neighborhood of St. Anne’s is made up of housing lots that are 100-feet wide and at least one-third of an acre.

The Homes of St. Anne’s

St. Annes is our custom home area. We offer several homes we call “Right-Sized” because we think that they perfectly combine style, luxury, and affordability. In addition, you can bring your own custom home plan. The “right-sized” homes in this neighborhood range in size from 1,763 square feet to 1,996 square feet, and range in price, based on square footage, from $232,700 to $276,740, not including homesite. 

St. Andrews

Also on a golf course, the St. Andrews neighborhood is situated in between the sixth and seventh fairways of our Founders Course. Built on a quiet and private cul-de-sac, these single-family homes are also part of a maintenance association, giving you the best of both golf course and maintenance association living.

The Homes of St. Andrews

The four home designs of St. Andrews all have first-floor master bedrooms and the option to add second floors if you need more room. These houses range in size from 1,757 to 2,378 square feet.  The construction prices of these homes in St. Andrews range from $240,000 to $313,800, not including homesite.

The Homestead Cottages

The Homestead Cottages offer coziness coupled with affordability. Another maintenance-association neighborhood, the Homestead Cottages also boast arts-and-crafts style architecture, two-story garages, and your choice of ranch-style or 1.5-story home designs. The price of the Homestead Cottages includes the price of the homesite. Prices range from $243,000 to $253,000, and square footages range from 1,407 to 1,590.
