Infantry in the Civil War

October 23 @ 9:30 am

We are shifting our Infantry in the Civil War Conference to a virtual format via Zoom. This will keep everyone safe and properly social distanced. Since this is entirely new territory, please bear with us as we work to “reinvent the wheel.”
Here’s our vision for the virtual conference:

#1 The conference will be only 3 days from October 23 – 25 to prevent Zoom fatigue. Each day will have the following schedule:

Virtual Field Tour from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Virtual Field Tour from 1 – 3 p.m.
Virtual Lectures/Discussion from 7 – 9 p.m.

#2 Parts of the field tours may be pre-recorded based on the terrain and other logistical factors. However, every tour guide will be LIVE during their virtual session to provide commentary and answer questions. Our book vendor, Jim Schmick of Civil War & More, will be on hand for book orders – please plan to patronize his small business.

#3 The price point on this conference is $50 per day for members, $60 per day for non-members. We have tried to keep the price economical while keeping in mind there are many new challenges to solve.

#4 All registered attendees will receive their packet of maps in the mail prior to the conference as well as the Zoom login information. If you need assistance with using Zoom, please contact Lark prior to the conference.

#5 This conference will ONLY happen if a minimum of 50 people are registered by September 15. If we have not reached that number by September 15, it will be cancelled and full refunds issued. We understand this new format is not ideal, but sincerely appreciate your support and patronage during this very difficult year.

We are very sorry we could not host the Infantry in the Civil War conference as usual, but feel it is in the best interest of our members and team to convert to a virtual platform.
