Beginner Watercolors – “Snowy Solitude”
December 1 @ 12:00 pm
This 2-day workshop instructed by Nancy Groves is a perfect entry point for beginners, providing a basic understanding of how to paint landscapes with watercolors. Students will learn about watercolor papers, different types of paintbrushes and tools, color mixing, and application techniques. Learn how to apply watercolor washes, create a winter cabin, and capture shadows on snow as we paint and complete our landscape painting, “Snowy Solitude.” Students are responsible for purchasing their own supplies and bringing them along to the workshop.
