RECREATION GROUPSIt’s all in good fun here. Groups include the Harmony Singers, Bridge Clubs, Holiday Dinner and Dance Club, Stamp Collecting, Railroad and Trains Group, Birding, Reading Groups, the RV Owners Group and Garden Club. There’s a delicious array of clubs for those who enjoy good food and, of course, great company—like our Wine Making Group, for example. Come taste it for yourself! |

ARTS & MUSIC GROUPSWhether you’re a dabbler or a professional, you’ll love the arts and hobby scene here. To mention a few: The Crafty Ladies, Quilters Club, Needle Work Group, Painting Group, Photography Club, Woodworkers Group, Concert Series of Chambersburg, The Cumberland Valley Chambers Players. And, many of our residents are involved in the Totem Pole Playhouse, an acclaimed local theatre that has hosted such greats as Jean Stapleton, John Ritter and hundreds of great productions. The Luhrs Performing Center on the campus of Shippensburg University is just 30 minutes away. |

EDUCATIONAL PURSUITSAdult learners have a very special opportunity living here at Penn National. O.L.L.I., the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, offers class series in a range of subjects on the adjoining remote Penn State campus and onsite at our Inn—Our senior community is within 20 minutes of three universities! Plus, with the Penn State arboretum and many other resources nearby, it’s easy to broaden your education right here in the active adult community where you live. |

SOCIAL & COMMUNITY CLUBSAll of our resident clubs are social, of course, but these groups specialize in good times and good friends and good causes: Ladies Luncheon and Mens Luncheon Groups, PNHA Elks, Red Hat Ladies, Adopt a Highway, the Yard Sale Committee, Community Outreach and the Dinner with Friends Group. Plus, there are a host of sponsored activities like Orioles Games, the Charlestown Races, Potomac River Cruise, American Music Theatre, the Pig Roast and more!
