36 Spectacular Holes
Just as Penn National offers every modern amenity along with a great sense of history, its two golf courses also offer a choice of traditional or contemporary.
The Founders Course
Designed by Ed Adult, The Founders Course opened in 1968 and features a classic blend of tree-lined fairways, large greens, sculpted bunkers and a 7-acre lake. With a par of 72, the Founders Course is an enjoyable course for golfers of all ages and skill levels.
The Iron Forge Course
The Iron Forge Course was created more recently and opened almost 30 years after its predecessor, in 1997. The Iron Forge was designed by Bill Love of Ault, Clark and Associates and provides distinct contrast to its sister course. A links-inspired design with sculpted bent-grass fairways, The Iron Forge is more open to the forces of nature and features 40-mile views of the surrounding mountains.
The Founders and Iron Forge Golf Courses are both ranked 4 stars by Golf Digest’s "Places to Play" and we were given top ratings by Zagat Guides "America’s Top Golf Courses."
Living at Penn National means having these courses available to you (initiation-free) and your guests whenever you choose. In addition, we have a separate 40-acre practice and golf learning center that is perfect for learning to play or to hone your skills.
